The Congregational Care team works to carry out the mission of HMC. There are several ministries represented within this team. This team has a heart for helping and serving others with love and caring. Bereavement Meals: This team prepares and serves meals to families who have lost a loved one by serving a meal before or after a funeral service. This time together to share a meal and visit is a valuable way to serve others, by showing our love and that we care about them.
Nursing Home Team: This team visits those from our congregation who are currently living at Hillcrest Manor. We want to make sure these members know that we have not forgotten them and to offer some Christian encouragement.
Hospital Visits: This team visits or calls those from our congregation who are in the hospital. We want to offer them encouragement, love, and support in their time of need.
Card Ministry: This team sends out cards to members to offer love, support, and encouragement.
Grief Ministry: This team encourages those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
Calling Tree: This ministry serves to reach out to others to form relationships and to make sure others know they are loved and cared about.
